Bristol workshop | make your own natural treatment masks

You (and maybe a friend) deserve a good old pamper session! Come and make a rejuvenating hair treatment and make a clay face mask with Hairy Jayne. Get your hair and skin feeling it's very best using your very own creations.

Ever wondered how conditioner is made? Jayne will demonstrate how she makes our hair conditioner base and then teach you how to select the best natural oils and ingredients to make a your treatment masks with. 

You'll be taking home a pair of lovely detoxing masks – one for your hair and one for your skin – so you can have a relaxing mini spa at home. Customised with natural plant-powered ingredients chosen by you, and fragranced with our essential oil blends.

Whether you're planning to use your masks ahead of a big event, or just whenever you feel like it, you'll be leaving this DIY beauty workshop with the knowledge of how to make them time and time again. Silky smooth hair and lovely soft skin whenever it's called for!

This treatment-making workshop is hosted by Jayne in her dedicated kitchen at Hairy Jayne HQ in Totterdown, Bristol, where we create our award-winning hair care.

What you'll make and take home

You will be taking home: 
• a hair treatment, approx 100ml
• a clay-based face mask, approx 30ml
• a bamboo comb to use with your hair treatment
• an application brush to use with your face mask
• your own bespoke recipe so you can make some more when you run out

On the day of the workshop

• The workshop will open 15 minutes before the start time, so feel free to arrive a bit earlier and get settled in
• There's free on-street parking on the surrounding roads, as well as a Tesco Express car park opposite the venue
• The venue is a 10-15 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads.
• The full address is 123 Oxford Street, Totterdown, Bristol BS3 4RH
• Aprons are available if you'd like one and it's best to avoid wearing anything that could be damaged by accidental oil spillages
• We're situated opposite a pub and near food options if you fancy eating or drinking afterwards. Let us know if you'd like recommendations!
• If you like the look of our products, everything available on our website is available to purchase on the day. Including essential oils and ingredients.

How to gift the workshop or book a group

Our friendly workshops makes great gift experiences, too. If you'd like to purchase this as a gift for someone, you can buy a Hairy Jayne gift card and email a note to your recipient with the gift card – they then can use it to book a date to suit them.

Our location will fit groups of up to 8. You're interested in the workshop for a much bigger group please get in touch to discuss the possibility of running the workshop at a different location.

Cancellations

If you have a change of plans, we can rebook you onto another slot or organise a refund up to 7 days before your experience. Just send us an email to arrange.

Can't make it? We understand things happen! You can cancel and get a full refund up to 7 days before your experience. For later cancellations, please get in touch and we can look into possibly getting you onto another date that isn't likely to be fully booked (please note this is not guaranteed).
