Returns policy

We (Hairy Jayne Ltd) have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return if you're not happy with your purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your order number or order confirmation email. You must pay for the postage for any returns, and we recommend making sure you have a proof of postage reference number when you send it.

To start a return, you can contact us at jayne@hairyjaynehandmade.co.uk. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages / issues 
Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it in case any item is defective or damaged in any way, or if you have received the wrong item. Contact us by email immediately with a photo of your order so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Hair and skincare products (such as our shampoos, conditioner and oils) that have been opened or used cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or credits on gift cards.

Exchanges
If you'd like to exchange your unopened or unused item for something else, please let us know. Return the item you have in similar packaging to how it arrived, as above. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item that you would like instead.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund cannot be approved. Once approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
