It's really simple! Depending on the product, your first order will arrive in a reusable aluminium bottle with a pump, or a reusable container. When you run out, simply order the refill and it will come packaged in a biodegradable pouch inside a recyclable cardboard box.

Snip the corner and squeeze it into your bottle, and you're good to go. No new packaging, no plastic, no faff. The shampoo concentrate comes in a refillable glass jar instead, just top it up with a biodegradable refill pouch when you're running low.

Our refillable liquid shampoos work just like a regular shampoo, pump into your hand, lather up, rinse. The shampoo concentrate is a semi-solid paste in a glass jar that's twice as concentrated as a traditional shampoo, so you need much less per wash. Both are sulphate free, refillable and come with biodegradable refill options, it really just comes down to which format you prefer for your hair type.

Yes! All our refill pouches are made from a biodegradable polythene that breaks down within one to two years in the event of littering, meets BSI standard PAS 9017:2020 and passes ecotoxicity tests, leaving no microplastics behind. Compared to single-use plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles, they're a much more sustainable option and they take up far less space too!

Refills are available for our shampoo concentrate, light, cream and treatment conditioners, and hair perfume. The hair oils, dry shampoo and travel bottles are also refillable and reusable.
