Bristol workshop | make your own natural fragrance

Essential oils aren't just for aromatherapy, they also smell amazing! Learn how to make essential oil blends to create a natural fragrance that you love, and can replicate at home.

Jayne uses natural essential oils to fragrance our hair care creations and has selected her favourite ones for you to blend. She will show you her simple method of blending notes before leaving you to let your noses guide you to creating your own natural fragrance. You'll then use your blend to create a solid perfume balm and hair perfume spritz. Keep your creations for yourself or give them to a lucky someone as a gift.

This creative workshop is perfect if you're looking for a fun thing to do in Bristol. It's hosted by Hairy Jayne in our dedicated hair care kitchen at our headquarters in Totterdown. 

Please note: It is not considered 100% safe to use essential oils while pregnant or breastfeeding as they can disrupt the hormones. If unsure, please speak to your doctor first.

What you'll make and take home

You will take home with you a tin of solid perfume and your perfumed hair spray, as well as the remainder of your essential oil blend to use again or diffuse at home. All beautifully labelled, as well as your blending notes and recipes so you can make more perfumes at home if you wish. 

On the day of the workshop

• The workshop will open 15 minutes before the start time, so feel free to arrive a bit earlier and get settled in
• There's free on-street parking on the surrounding roads, as well as a Tesco Express car park opposite the venue
• The venue is a 10-15 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads.

• Aprons are available if you'd like one and it's best to avoid wearing anything that could be damaged by accidental oil spillages
• We're situated opposite a pub and near food options if you fancy eating or drinking afterwards. Let us know if you'd like recommendations!
• If you like the look of our products, they are available to purchase on the day. Including essential oils and ingredients.

Our location will fit groups of up to 8. You're interested in the workshop for a much bigger group please get in touch to discuss the possibility of running the workshop at a different location.

If you have a change of plans, we can rebook you onto another slot or organise a refund up to 7 days before your experience. Just send us an email to arrange.

Can't make it? We understand things happen! You can cancel and get a full refund up to 7 days before your experience. For later cancellations, please get in touch and we can look into possibly getting you onto another date that isn't likely to be fully booked (please note this is not guaranteed).
