Hairy Jayne solid shampoo bars are natural, plastic free, sulphate free, palm oil free, cruelty free and vegan. They lather up very well to cleanse the hair and nourish the scalp with Aloe Vera and Mango Butter. Award winning pH balanced shampoo bars formulated and made by a hairdresser with shampoo ingredients (not soap).

Our refillable conditioners are available in 3 different strengths – Light, Cream and Treatment. Use our handy chart (pictured) to discover which of these plant-powered natural healers is best for your hair.

Directions for use

Sulphate free shampoo bars: 

1. Saturate your hair through with warm water.
   
2. Rub the bar directly onto your scalp or in the palm of your hand.
3. Massage your scalp until it lathers.
4. Rinse your hair and scalp well, until your hair feels squeaky clean.

Keep the bar out of water and allow to dry between uses. We recommend using a Shampoo bar holder or Cork resting mat. The bars are quite squidgy and can be reshaped and remoulded (like putty!) if necessary.

Refillable conditioners:

1. Snip a very small corner of the pouch and carefully squeeze the conditioner into your 250ml bottle. 
2. Dispose of the biodegradable pouch in your regular or compost bin.
3. Apply conditioner to wet hair.
   
4. Use a small about a 10p-sized amount for short hair, more it it's longer.
5. Distribute the conditioner between both palms and run through the mid-lengths and ends of the hair.
6. Keeping the conditioner away from the scalp, comb it through all of the hair strands with a detangling comb (or fingers).
7. Leave for at least one minute, to allow the active ingredients to adsorb.
8. Rinse your hair well with warm water, until it no longer feels slippy.

Our fragrances are created with essential oil blends. Choose from:

Floral – Geranium, Bergamot & Vanilla*
Citrus – Grapefruit, May Chang & Jasmine
Musk – Neroli*, Vetiver & Patchouli

*Fragrance oil (parfum) used within the blend.

Shampoo bar with sulphate free cleansers, mango butter, olive oil, aloe vera, green clay, palm free stearic acid, a detangling agent and essential oil blends.

Light conditioner with aloe vera, fractionated coconut oil, wheat protein, rice bran oil, camellia oil, detangling agent, pro-vitamin b5, olive emulsifier, paraben free preservative and essential oils.

Cream conditioner with olive oil, fractionated coconut oil, rice bran oil, wheat protein, detangling agent, de-frizzing agent, pro-vitamin b5, paraben free preservative and essential oils.

Treatment conditioner with wheat protein, rice bran oil, plum kernel oil, pro-vitamin b5, sorbitol (from corn), paraben free preservative and essential oils.

All are free from sulphates, silicones, phthalates and parabens.

50g bar. 5 x 5 x 2.5cm. Lasts approximately 2 months when used daily, 4-6 months when used every few days (recommended).

240ml refill. Lasts around the same amount of time as the bar when following a regular hair-washing routine.

Sustainable packaging info

Shampoo bar: no outer packaging, just a paper wrapper (naked).
Conditioner refill: biodegradable clear polythene bags containing an additive that accelerates the degradation process. In the unwanted event of littering, these pouches are scientifically-proven to biodegrade within 1-2 years.
