make your own natural hair treatment + clay mask
Hair mask making is one of our most popular workshops, especially for team-building and group events. It's a fun, hands-on session where you’ll mix up your own natural hair treatment and a soothing clay face mask.
You’ll be guided on ingredients that suit your hair and skin, choose your preferred essential oil fragrance, and learn how to mix them into lovely, nourishing treatments. Everyone leaves with a leave-in hair treatment and a clay face mask, and the recipe to take home.
scent blending and fragrance making workshops
Our scent blending and fragrance making workshops are also a favourite for groups looking to get creative and try something a little different. In this relaxing session, you’ll learn how to blend your own natural fragrance using all natural essential oils.
You’ll take home your unique perfume oil made with your scent blend, along with the rest of your essential oil blend to use or diffuse at home. Plus, you’ll keep your blending notes, so you can recreate your fragrance anytime you like.

what can you expect in a team building workshop with Hairy Jayne?
Hairy Jayne’s scent-sational workshops are designed to be fun, informal, and easy for everyone to take part in, no experience needed.
On the day, we'll bring along all the natural ingredients, and equipment, setting everything up for you beforehand. Once you’re settled in, you'll be guided step-by-step through making the products pre-chosen by you.
You’ll learn a little about the ingredients and how they work, then blend your own creations to take home.
Each session is calm, friendly, and filled with lovely scents. You’ll also get the recipes to keep, so you can recreate your blends again and again.where can you have your team building activity?
We’re more than happy to either come to your office, or an offsite location, or a public space that works best for your team within Bristol or nearby. All that is needed is a large table (or several smaller tables) to use as a workspace for everyone. Please get in touch to discuss whether the space will be suitable.
Our craft workshops are suitable for up to a maximum of 16 people, and available to book in Bristol and nearby locations, such as Frome, Cardiff, Gloucester and more.

Hairy Jayne offers craft workshops for team building or corporate away days within Bristol, with travel expenses included for locations within a 5 mile radius of Totterdown.
We can also travel to some surrounding areas for workshops. A small fee will apply for travel outside of our Bristol radius, please get in touch with your location for a quote.

We can tailor our workshops to suit your team building day. For groups between 9-16 people, you get to take away 2 homemade creations from the list below.

How long does each workshop last?
Team building workshops usually take between an hour and a half to two hours and can be tailored to your schedule if needed.
We're not based in Bristol, can I still book a workshop?
We do offer corporate team building activities beyond Bristol, and have even recently travelled up to Edinburgh!
For locations further away, additional travel expenses are applicable.

We don't have a space to hold the workshop, can we come to you?
We can accommodate team building workshops for groups of up to 8 people in our dedicated hair care kitchen in Totterdown, South Bristol.
For groups larger than 8, you would need to supply the venue. We're happy to discuss working around a space or offsite venue you might have in mind.
