Natural mask making is one of our most popular workshops, perfect for birthday parties with friends and family. It's a fun, hands-on session where you’ll mix up your own natural hair treatment and a soothing clay face mask.
You’ll be guided on ingredients that suit your hair and skin, choose your preferred essential oil fragrance, and learn how to mix them into lovely, nourishing treatments. Everyone leaves with a leave-in hair treatment and a clay face mask – and the recipe to take home to make more.
scent blending and fragrance making workshops
Scent blending workshops are also a favourite for groups looking to get creative and try something a bit different. In this relaxing session, you’ll learn how to blend your own natural fragrance using all natural essential oils.
You’ll take home your unique perfume oil made with your scent blend, along with the rest of your essential oil blend to diffuse at home. Plus, you can keep your blending notes so you can recreate your natural fragrance at home.

what can you expect during a birthday party activity with Hairy Jayne?
Hairy Jayne’s scent-sational birthday workshops for adults are designed to be fun, creative and relaxed, no previous experience needed.
On the day, Jayne will bring all of the natural ingredients and equipment, and will set everything up for you beforehand. Once you’re settled in, you'll be guided step-by-step through making the products pre-chosen by you.
You’ll learn a little about the ingredients and how they work. After choosing the best ones for your needs you'll then then blend your own creations to take home.
Each session is calm, friendly, and filled with lovely scents. You can also keep your recipe, so you can recreate your potions again and again.where can you have your birthday party workshop?
Do you have a birthday party venue in mind? Whether it's a cafe, hall or pub or a room in your home, Jayne can come to you. All that is needed is table space for everyone to work at. Please get in touch to discuss whether or not the space will be suitable.

How long does each workshop last?
Birthday party workshops usually take between an hour and a half to two hours, depending on the group size and activity.
We're not based in Bristol, can I still book a workshop?
We do offer birthday activities beyond the Bristol area. For locations further away, additional travel expenses will be applicable.
