What is a hair perfume?

Hair perfume is carefully formulated for use on hair rather than skin. Many regular perfumes contain alcohol that can dry hair out over time, while our amber hair perfume uses a natural, moisturising base that protects hair from dehydration, helps with tangles and adds shine, as well as leaving it beautifully scented.

What is the difference between the hair perfume and the flower waters?

he amber hair perfume is our most multi-tasking mist, it scents, protects from moisture loss, adds shine, calms frizz and can be used as a heat protectant before blow drying.

The flower waters, orange flower water and lavender flower water, are lighter, single-ingredient hydrating sprays made from natural hydrolats. They're brilliant for refreshing and restyling hair between washes, especially for curls, and work on skin too as a facial toner or cooling spritz.

Are Hairy Jayne hair mists suitable for curly hair?

Yes both our the flower waters and the hair perfume are brilliant for both wavy and curly hair. The orange flower water is particularly popular for refreshing and restyling curls between washes, simply spritz on dry hair to dampen and reshape, and follow with a hair oil to seal moisture in. The lightweight formula doesn't weigh curls down or cause build-up over time, even with frequent use.
