A zero waste hair care set – a solid shampoo bar, a solid conditioner bar and two jesmonite shampoo bar holders to keep them high and dry. The set is completely plastic free and handmade. The bar holders are hand poured jesmonite (an eco resin similar to concrete) and prevent any sogginess in the shower. In two colours (lilac and mint) so you can tell your bars apart once they're unpackaged.

Solid shampoo and conditioner bars are definitely the most 'zero waste' of all hair care products as they avoid plastic altogether. Because they are waterless, all of their packaging is paper-based and very easily recyclable.

The bars are small and soft so don't last well.
I've only tried a few shampoo bars but these are my go to! I love the way they make my hair feel after washing and the scents are great. I usually go for the Citrus but I've had a few of the others when it's been out of stock - they're all nice scents but Citrus is my favourite.
They lather wonderfully, I definitely find it works best for me rubbing the bar between my hands then applying to my scalp, but your mileage may vary. I do have to note that I don't use conditioner, I haven't for years and my hair is fine without it if I double wash - the bars last me about 4/5 months with the double wash every 4/5 days or so. The bars last longer if I use my bottled shampoo as the first wash (trying to get it used up so I can get rid of it).
I do love the difference options of wrapping, the tin, the box or naked, I've been choosing naked to try to be a little more sustainable, but I did grab a tin for travel once.
Highly recommend trying these, I know they have small tester ones available if you're unsure.

Left my hair shiny and clean and was easy to use. One small quibble. Faded my hair colour slightly. Maybe my fault for buying the citrus one.
It is absolutely beautiful - soft on my scalp and the scent is magnificent! It's my favourite. 100% recommended
