Natural, biodegradable and sustainable

Hairy Jayne will always work towards a more positive environmental impact. The ingredients that we use are carefully selected so that the finished products are highly biodegradable. Which means they are capable of decomposing back into natural elements. We don't use artificial colours or "fillers" in our shampoo and conditioner.

Almost all of the packaging that we use is reusable or widely recyclable, and to combat plastic waste we now have plastic free solid shampoo and conditioner bars. As well as reusable aluminium bottles and biodegradable refill options for your liquid shampoo and conditioner refill. 

Vegan and cruelty free

All Hairy Jayne haircare products have been certified by the Vegan Society. They have double-checked that no animal-derived ingredients are in any of our vegan hair care, no animals were used in making the ingredients and that we certainly do not do any animal testing. This ensures that all of the products are 100% cruelty free.

Handmade in the UK

The products are not factory made. They are always handmade, with love, by Hairy Jayne. So you can rest assured that no 'harmful chemicals' are used by us when we make our vegan haircare products. We source our ingredients from UK suppliers wherever possible, too.

Independent

Hairy Jayne is not owned by a bigger corporation, she's as free as a bird! We are a small company and we’re very open to listening to any ideas or thoughts you may have. We aim to give you the best customer service, always.

Marketing policy

Hairy Jayne will never tell you to aspire to being *more* anything (more sexy, more groomed, more trendy). Because being yourself is the best! You are enough. There's no-one else like you and the world would be *super* boring if we were all the same. We just want you and your hair to feel good.
